I just want to talk to someone: what if I don’t want to draw, walk or meditate?

I am a skilled and experienced counsellor and the additional techniques are offered for those people who prefer or are willing to try a different approach. They are not for everyone and are not a necessary part of treatment.

What is your experience as a counsellor and art psychotherapist?

I have many years experience working in the public mental health system in the areas of outpatient, psychosocial rehabilitation, forensic and early episode psychosis. I am engaged on an ongoing basis with a GP Network providing art therapy and also provide similar services with a major cancer support organisation. I maintain a private practice at ‘Counselling on Stirling’ in North Fremantle and develop and facilitate workshops for various government and private agencies on a contractual basis.

Counselling on Stirling is in North Fremantle.

Walking therapy - at peaceful and suitable locations, convenient to your home or workplace within the western suburbs.

How long is a session?
Counselling 50 minutes
Walking therapy 50 minutes
Art therapy 60-75 minutes
Mindfulness 50 minutes
Group sessions 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you are unable to make your scheduled in home or in office appointment, 24 hours notice is required to avoid a cancellation fee. I am happy to re-schedule your appointment to a more convenient time.
