Frequently asked questions
I just want to talk to someone: what if I don’t want to draw, walk or meditate?
I am a skilled and experienced counsellor and the additional techniques are offered for those people who prefer or are willing to try a different approach. They are not for everyone and are not a necessary part of treatment.
What is your experience as a counsellor and art psychotherapist?
I have many years experience working in the public mental health system in the areas of outpatient, psychosocial rehabilitation, forensic and early episode psychosis. I am engaged on an ongoing basis with a GP Network providing art therapy and also provide similar services with a major cancer support organisation. I maintain a private practice at ‘Counselling on Stirling’ in North Fremantle and develop and facilitate workshops for various government and private agencies on a contractual basis.
